On 1 September 2021, we announced that we had secured the Valaris JU-107 jack-up drilling rig for the Buffalo-10 well.

Once the rig completes its current drilling operations for Jadestone, it will move ~300km across to the Buffalo-10 well location. Buffalo-10 will be targeting the undrained attic and remaining oil columns in the Elang formation. The remaining recoverable 2C resource estimate is 31 mmbbl on a gross basis.

At this stage, the timeframe for spudding the well is early November 2021.
